We may have found a potential playmate!
Another breeder has a beautiful whiteface pied baby that is currently being handfed. We aren’t sure of the gender, but if it turns out to be another male I think we’ll go for it!
I’m thinking Loki will be a good name. In Norse myth, he was made Odin’s blood brother. He’s also a very mischievous character.

He’s growing even more confident with his wings – he flew into the kitchen today. We can usually tell when he’s planning on taking off; he becomes very vocal and flaps around a few times before actually going for it.
I noticed a bunch of new pinfeathers on Odin’s head – I wonder how impressive his ‘do will be when it’s fully grown! His tail feathers are also coming in nicely. It’s amazing how much he’s changed in just a week.
