Today was a bit on the uneventful side, so I only have a few quick updates on training and diet.
I don't think he's actually eating his pellets. He tends to pick around them and go for the seeds mixed in. I tried buying some "kids" apple juice (no sweetener added) and mixing it in with the pellets to help soften them and hopefully improve the taste. Another recommendation was to use smaller pellets, so tomorrow I'll try grinding some up in the food processor. At least if the pieces are smaller there's a better chance of him eating the pellets accidentally while going for the seeds!
Regardless of the pellet thing, his crop appears pretty full and his weight is healthy.

Had another short training session today - working on the "eagle" thing (raising wings and holding them). I think he has begun to figure out that raising his wings gets him millet. Once he really knows it I'll work on getting him to spread his wings further, and eventually do it on cue.
He always becomes very vocal just before sleep time - it's like he waits right until we're going to bed and then turns into a chatterbox. He's definitely picking up on the wolf whistle now!
